BMW Wireless Charging is an innovative and convenient method of recharging the BMW 5 Series iPerformance Saloon. A 100% charge can be achieved via a charging station on the floor in approx. 3.5 hours. The inductive charging station can be installed in a garage or outside on the ground.
To charge the car, the driver merely has to park the vehicle above the charging station. The cars Info Display tells the driver when the vehicle is in the correct position. Once switched off and secured, the charging operation starts up automatically.
